Borrell: Hamas is not just a group of individuals, but an unkillable idea and ideology

BARCELONA – The head of foreign policy at the European Union, Josep Borrell, stated on Monday at the Forum for the Union of the Mediterranean that Hamas is not merely a group of individuals but an unkillable idea and ideology, according to Al Jazeera.  اضافة اعلان

Borrell emphasized that Israel has exceeded the limit of self-defense, and it should not consider reoccupying Gaza.

“I’m appalled to learn that in the middle of a war, the Israeli government is poised to commit new funds to build more illegal settlements.,” Borrell was quoted as saying.  

“This is not self-defense and will not make Israel safer. The settlements are a grave breach of International Law, and they are Israel’s greatest security liability.”
