Biden condemns settler violence against Palestinians

WASHINGTON – US President, Joe Biden, condemned escalating attacks by Jewish settlers against Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank since October 7, saying the attacks ‘poured gasoline’ on the situation. اضافة اعلان

“It has to stop. They have to be held accountable. It has to stop now,” Biden said on Wednesday, according to Al Jazeera. 

Settler attacks had been steadily increasing for months before the current conflict. 

The West Bank Protection Consortium, a coalition of non-government organizations and donor countries, including the European Union, has said that hundreds of Palestinians have been forcibly displaced by settler attacks.
