Arab Parliament Condemns Israeli Crimes in Gaza, Calls for International Action to Stop Genocide
Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi denounced the escalation of Israel’s genocidal war and the horrific massacres committed against Palestinian civilians, as well as the systematic targeting of journalists, medical teams, and relief workers in the Gaza Strip, and the deliberate starvation policy that has claimed the lives of many defenseless civilians.اضافة اعلان

In a statement, he warned that the continuation of such escalation would lead to further tensions and pose a threat to international peace and security. He stressed that the massacres carried out today by Israel at Nasser Medical Complex, broadcast live to the world, constitute full-fledged war crimes and crimes against humanity.

He further noted that Israel is not only carrying out brutal bombardments but is also enforcing policies of immediate extermination through massacres, and slow extermination through the prevention of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid, causing widespread famine—describing it as one of the most heinous crimes of modern times, while condemning the silence of the international community.

Al-Yamahi called on the United Nations, the European Union, the International Federation of Journalists, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to assume their legal and moral responsibilities by pressuring Israel to halt its escalation, end the war, enforce a ceasefire, and move toward a truce deal. He stressed that continued silence represents a stain on the conscience of humanity.

He also urged the immediate suspension of Israel’s membership in all international organizations and unions, given its violations of the principles of the international system and its blatant disregard for international law. He demanded the imposition of urgent and comprehensive economic, political, and military sanctions on Israeli leaders, while also calling for swift action by the International Criminal Court to investigate these crimes—classified as genocide—and prosecute those responsible as war criminals.
