Abass’ office denies Israeli accusations regarding UN speech

NEW YORKNabil Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, denied what was published by Israeli media regarding what President Mahmoud Abbas’s speech during his meeting with members of the Palestinian community in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings. اضافة اعلان

Abu Rudeineh said that President Abbas had touched on the issue of elections, emphasizing the official Palestinian position on holding elections as soon as they were able to be held in East Jerusalem, but he did not offend anyone in his words, nor did he use any word that offended any party.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency added that such reports issued in the Israeli media are a continuation of the fierce campaign led by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian leadership and the Palestinian narrative, which has begun to make its way in the United States and in the world to refute the Israeli narrative.

Israeli media reported Abbas referring to the EU as ‘animals’ and berating them for their failures to maintain their promises made regarding Israel, namely Brussels regarding promises made concerning elections in East Jerusalem.
