Temperatures are expected to drop on Sunday, with relatively cold weather prevailing across most regions. Low-altitude clouds will appear, and scattered rain showers are forecast in parts of the eastern and southeastern regions of the Kingdom. By evening, the chance of rainfall gradually decreases. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, occasionally becoming active.

Temperatures in East Amman will range between 15°C and 7°C, and in West Amman between 13°C and 5°C. In the northern highlands, temperatures will range from 13°C to 6°C, while in the Sharah highlands they will be between 16°C and 4°C. In the Badia regions, temperatures will range from 19°C to 9°C, and in the plains from 16°C to 8°C. The northern Jordan Valley will see temperatures between 24°C and 14°C, and the southern Jordan Valley between 26°C and 15°C. The Dead Sea will record 24°C to 15°C, while Aqaba will range from 25°C to 14°C.

The Jordan Meteorological Department warns of fog formation during the morning hours over mountainous areas, as well as parts of the Badia and the plains, and cautions against slippery roads in areas experiencing rain showers.

According to the report, relatively cold weather will continue on Monday and Tuesday in most regions, while conditions will be mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low-altitude clouds and southwesterly moderate winds.

On Wednesday, a slight drop in temperatures is expected. The weather will be cold over the highlands and plains, and mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at different altitudes. There is a possibility of rain showers in parts of the northern and central regions of the Kingdom. Winds will be southwesterly moderate, occasionally active.

Ma’an Records Highest Rainfall at 22.7 mm

Ma’an weather station recorded the highest rainfall amount between 9 a.m. Saturday and 9 p.m., reaching 22.7 mm, according to the rainfall table issued by the Jordan Meteorological Department.

It was followed by Aqaba Port station at 15.9 mm, then Mafraq at 15.5 mm. Rainfall reached 13 mm in Qatraneh and 12.6 mm at Amman Airport.

Other recorded amounts included: Zarqa (11.5 mm), Queen Alia Airport (11 mm), Shobak (10.8 mm), and Aqaba Airport (10.1 mm), while Al-Rabba recorded 10 mm.
