Individual subscription pricing
Meta will continue offering the three app-specific subscription plans it launched earlier this year, as a starting point for users.
Both Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus cost around $3.99 per month, with both plans offering dedicated lines for direct messages and Stories, notifications when someone views a Story, as well as expanded interaction options on Reels and feed posts.
WhatsApp Plus, meanwhile, costs $2.99 per month, and Meta is using it to test offering backup storage space for conversations and media, alongside a "Focus Schedules" feature that automatically mutes conversations during hours the user sets.
The bigger shift comes with the Meta One Core and Meta One Premium plans, which combine app features with higher tiers of access to AI tools.
Meta One Core costs around $7.99 per month, offering a larger number of edits using the Restyle feature on Instagram, more sound effects, and broader capabilities for creating images and videos using Meta's Muse models.
Meta One Premium, meanwhile, costs $19.99 per month, offering the highest usage limits for these tools.
Meta says the Restyle feature and sound effects were among the top reasons users signed up for these packages during the testing phase.
New tools for creators and businesses
Businesses and content creators get four subscription tiers instead of two.
The Meta One Essential plan starts at $14.99 per month, and includes a verification badge, impersonation protection, and broader access to Meta Business Agent, which allows responding to customers on WhatsApp around the clock.
The Advanced plan starts at $49.99 per month and offers the ability to schedule posts up to 30 days ahead of their publish date, export analytics data, access more detailed audience insights, and give team members shared access to the account without needing to share the password.
The Expert and Max plans start at $149 and $499 per month, respectively, and target teams managing multiple accounts at the same time.
Meta is also rolling out an improved profile design, a follow button within Reels, and automatic follow prompts for people who engage with a creator's content.
An Edits Plus plan is also set to launch soon, offering additional cloud storage space and an AI-powered content editing assistant.
Meta says the various Meta One tiers have already logged a combined total of 15 million subscriptions and trials.
The company plans to expand the service in the future to include its Edits app and its AI-powered smart glasses.
Meta also notes that exact pricing and feature availability will vary by region and account type, meaning the options a user sees when subscribing may not match all the tiers and features mentioned.
