Jordan Public Security steal spotlight at Arab Kickboxing Championships

AMMAN  — The Jordan Public Security (JPS) team stole the spotlight Sunday at the Kickboxing competition, in the 12th edition of the Arab Championships, held in the city of Dohuk, Iraq.  اضافة اعلان

All the team’s players made it to the coronation stands, bagging 3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals. The 6 players’ performances were lauded by the fans and tournament mentors.

About 150 players from 11 countries took part in the competition.

JPS Players’ results:

- Gold medal (under 63.5kg weight group) full contact: Odai Abu Hasweh

- Gold medal (under 60kg weight group): Muhyiddin Osama

- Gold medal (under 86kg weight group): Ali Ahmad Khalaf

- Silver medal (under 71kg weight group): Mohannad Afaneh

- Bronze medal (under 63.5kg weight group) (K1): Yousef Al-Nadi

- Bronze medal (under 67kg weight group): Anas Bilal Mesbah.


The team delegation was chaired by Major Issa Alamawi.
