This new release continues Dalia’s successful journey in presenting the Egyptian musical genre, as it is not her first attempt. She had previously performed songs in the Egyptian dialect that resonated positively and strengthened her presence among the Arab audience. In her new single, Dalia demonstrated mastery and professionalism in performing in Egyptian, which gave the work a special authenticity and charm.
The track was accompanied by a professionally produced music video, where Dalia appeared in scenes that closely reflected the everyday life and atmosphere of Egyptian society, making the visuals harmonize beautifully with the song’s lyrics and melody.
The lyrics of the song are cheerful and spontaneous, opening with:
“Drink a hibiscus and you’ll relax,
Calm your nerves a little, my love, and let go,
Cheer up and you’ll feel on top again,
Be gentle with me, and you’ll see that I’m right,
Just loosen up and stay calm,
Why get worked up for nothing?
Let it slide this time,
Drink a hibiscus and you’ll relax...”
The single is now available on all major digital platforms, on the singer’s official YouTube channel, as well as on Egyptian, Gulf, and other Arab radio stations.
On another note, Dalia Mubarak is currently in Jordan with the MBC media group to film the first episodes of The Voice Kids, where she has joined the jury panel for the new season dedicated to discovering young talents. This move follows her previous successful experiences in similar talent show juries, reflecting the producers’ confidence in her ability to share her artistic expertise and guide young voices toward success.
