“My mom taught me how to play piano and guitar at an early age, and then I taught myself at home without any lessons,” she said.

The musician has been performing since 2014 and has performed for a local media channel, the University of Jordan, and at Souk Jara.
“Souk Jara was my first spot for performing; I used to play the piano there every Friday,” she said.

Beyond live performances, the artist depended on social media for growth. To share her passion for music with a larger audience, she began sharing her covers on social media. Shortly after, her audience grew on Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.

“My talent was enhanced by social media, which accounted for the majority of my achievements,” she added. “Social media has been key to many of the opportunities I have had.”

Tarawneh is famous for her covers of Arabic songs, which is unsurprising considering her favorite singer is Abdel Halim-Hafez. She also shared that she prefers to perform folk and patriotic music.

Recently, she released “Layali El Ouns Mashup Cover” in collaboration with Fusion Waves.

Tarawneh is a solo artist. She explained that to her, singing and playing music complement each other, which is why she doesn’t necessarily require a band to perform, “the solo artist can perform a variety of styles,” she said.

“Because I play two instruments and sing, I was able to give a complete show without needing anyone.”

While she was always keen on learning instruments, her vocal talent was developed further into her career. “I didn’t have the vocal talent to perform, but I was always playing music, and the listeners had no idea what songs I was playing, so I began training to sing so I could eventually incorporate singing into my performances and allow the audience to enjoy my music,” Tarawneh said.

Singing is all about your voice, and Tarawneh believed that voice could be developed to perfection. There are a variety of techniques to build vocal talent, and the musician started to train to gain these techniques, and after a while, she succeeded. “Everyone was taken aback by my voice after two years of vocal training,” Tarawneh said.

However, Tarawneh’s passion didn’t end at performance. She also writes lyrics and composes music. “Playing music relieves tension and anger, and many of the improvised tunes I play to de-stress have turned into songs,” Tarawneh said. “Playing music feels like restarting my brain and gives me a push to start again.”

Music is a language the whole world speaks, as it teaches peace and spreads calmness. According to Tarawneh, anyone can deliver a message through music, but her primary purpose in performances is to entertain the listeners and spread joy.

“I only want to sing and make people feel happy, and I feel happy when they are happy with my music,” she said.

Currently, Tarawneh shared that she is now working on new personal projects and songs larger than the social media level.
