Directorate hosts calligraphy competition

AMMAN — The Madaba Directorate of Culture on Tuesday organized a calligraphy competition, in which 12 calligraphers took part, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.  The Director of the Madaba Directorate of Culture, Mohammad Al-Azaydeh told Petra news that the competition is part of the directorate’s 2021 plan to enrich the city’s cultural movement.  He added that three of the participants won the competition and will be honored on Wednesday.
