‘No migrant workers in municipalities by 2025’

AMMAN — Ministry of Local Administration Secretary-General Hussein Mhedat said on Sunday that, by the beginning of 2025, no migrants will be working in Jordan’s municipalities, Al-Rai Daily reported.اضافة اعلان

Work is underway to implement the House of Representative’s decision requiring a reduction in the number of migrant workers in all municipalities of the Kingdom, he said. By 2025, they will all be replaced with local workers.
