AMMAN — Finance Minister Mohamad Al-Ississ
said on Wednesday that the current government will not raise taxes or impose
any new taxes or fees, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.
In a statement to CNBC, he highlighted a program launched
three years ago to reduce unemployment and improve public finance, and
mentioned that no Eurobonds are due from Jordan until 2025.
