Hussein Shreim, President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, announced that the value of Zarqa’s commercial exports (re-exports) in September reached JD 38.2 million, based on statistics from Certificates of Origin issued by the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce and its office in the Free Zone, totaling 396 certificates.

Shreim explained in a statement on Wednesday that cars and automotive parts topped Zarqa’s export list for the month, followed by building materials, sanitary ware, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, in addition to food products, clothing, jewelry, electrical and electronic appliances, household and office furniture, and stationery.
He noted that Zarqa’s exports recorded a slight decrease compared to August, when they reached JD 39.5 million, but rose compared to the same period last year, which totaled JD 31 million. –(Petra)
