The European Union has approved a €110 million grant for Jordan to implement a multi-sector program through the state budget aimed at supporting economic and social modernization programs.

The decision was approved by the Council of Ministers at a meeting held on Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, as part of the strategic and comprehensive partnership between Jordan and the European Union.
The program will focus on three main areas: economic governance, human capital and the green economy.
The grant will be disbursed in two installments: €38.5 million by the end of this year and €71.5 million by the end of next year.
The program aims to improve the business environment, strengthen public financial management, and develop services related to energy, water, clean transport and employment, as well as education and vocational and technical training, research and innovation.
