Oil prices saw little change on Monday after rising in the previous session, as the likelihood of the United States launching an attack on Iran diminished following a bloody crackdown on protests that helped quell civil unrest in one of the Middle East’s largest crude-producing countries—unrest that could have disrupted oil supplies.

By 03:27 GMT, Brent crude rose by six cents, or 0.09%, to $64.19 per barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures for February delivery gained nine cents, or 0.15%, to $59.53 per barrel. The February contract expires on Tuesday, while the more actively traded March contract rose by five cents, or 0.08%, to $59.39 per barrel. (Reuters)
