The General Syndicate of Owners of Gold and Jewelry Shops and Workshops announced on Saturday, October 3, 2026, a slight decline in gold prices in the Jordanian local market.

The selling price of 24-karat gold stood at around JD 96.50 per gram, compared with JD 92.80 for buying. Meanwhile, the price of 21-karat gold, the most widely traded in Jordan, reached JD 84.10 per gram for selling and JD 80.20 for buying.
The price of 18-karat gold remained at JD 74.50 per gram for selling and JD 68.50 for buying.
The limited decline comes as global markets continue to monitor fluctuations in the price of the precious metal, which continue to have a direct impact on Jordan’s local market.
