Data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission showed a sharp rise in the number of Palestinians martyred at the hands of settlers in 2026, reaching 30 as of October 2, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The commission said the number recorded during the first nine months of 2026 was more than double the total for all of last year, representing an increase of approximately 114% and reflecting what it described as a dangerous escalation in the deadly consequences of settler attacks.
The data also showed that this year’s fatalities have been concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh and Nablus. The commission recorded 15 martyrs in Ramallah and Al-Bireh and seven in Nablus, accounting for around 73% of the total. Three were recorded in Hebron, two each in Jerusalem and Salfit, and one in Qalqilya.
The list documents multiple incidents in which more than one person was killed in a single attack. The data illustrate the growing threat posed by settler attacks to Palestinians in areas where they live, study and work, while increasing pressures aimed at forcing them from their land.
