Income Tax Department Begins Using Artificial Intelligence to Review Tax Returns

Hussam Abu Ali, Director General of the Income and Sales Tax Department, announced the launch of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to audit tax returns.اضافة اعلان

Speaking on the sidelines of the Finance Committee’s discussions on the national budget with the Ministry of Finance and its affiliated departments, Abu Ali highlighted that AI-enabled reviews of tax returns achieve an accuracy rate of up to 100%.

He also noted that most of the ministry’s operations have been digitized and that the next phase will involve expanding the digital transformation to cover all activities of the department.
