The Cabinet recently approved a set of regulations related to the tourism sector aimed at supporting and empowering the industry.
This included endorsing an amended regulation for the Jordanian Tourist Restaurants Association for the year 2025, intended to align the structure of the Association’s Board of Directors and tourism restaurant classification procedures with the amendments introduced to the Tourism Law under Amended Law No. 9 of 2024. The regulation also sets membership and annual subscription fees based on restaurant classifications.
The regulation further aims to enable the Association to carry out its role in enhancing and developing the profession.
