The sources said Trump has not yet made a final decision on whether to proceed with military action. Deliberations inside the The White House remain ongoing, as officials assess the risks of escalation and the potential political and military consequences of any strike.

According to U.S. officials, the United States Department of Defense has begun temporarily relocating some personnel from the Middle East to Europe or back to the United States as a precautionary measure in anticipation of a possible operation or potential Iranian retaliation. Sources stressed that such repositioning is a routine step ahead of potential U.S. military activity and does not necessarily indicate that an attack is imminent.

Discussions on the Iranian file were also held in the White House Situation Room, amid expectations that U.S. forces deployed in the region would reach full readiness by mid-March.

On the other side, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran is working to prepare a framework for future talks with the United States. Meanwhile, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright affirmed that Washington would seek to halt Iran’s nuclear ambitions “by any means.”
