Trump Warns Iran: Deal or Destruction
Former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stark ultimatum to Iran on Wednesday, stating that Tehran must either agree to dismantle its nuclear program through a deal or face potential military strikes aimed at destroying its nuclear infrastructure.اضافة اعلان

In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump said he prefers a "strong and verifiable deal" that would allow the U.S. to "literally blow up" Iran's centrifuges — but warned he is fully prepared to "blow them up viciously" through military force if necessary.

“There are only two options,” Trump declared. “Blow them up smartly, or blow them up brutally.”

The former president’s remarks came as U.S.–Iran nuclear talks reportedly showed signs of progress, with some American officials suggesting Iran might be allowed limited uranium enrichment under strict oversight. However, Trump’s statements pointed to a hardline approach with little room for compromise.

Iranian officials, for their part, have consistently rejected any calls to dismantle their centrifuge systems, a core component of their uranium enrichment capability.

Asked whether the U.S. would allow Iran to retain a limited enrichment program, Trump responded vaguely:

“We haven’t made that decision yet.”

Meanwhile, Vice President J.D. Vance said in a separate statement that negotiations with Iran were “going well,” and hinted at a potential agreement that could reintegrate Iran into the global economy while preventing it from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The Times of Israel, which reported on the interview, noted that Trump's position closely mirrors that of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has long advocated either a comprehensive dismantling of Iran's nuclear facilities or preemptive military action.

The Trump remarks underscore the ongoing internal debate within the U.S. leadership over whether to pursue a limited containment strategy or total dismantlement of Iran's nuclear ambitions — either diplomatically or through force.
