Trump: If We Are Forced to Complete the Mission Militarily, Iran Will Cease to Exist
U.S. President Donald Trump warned late Saturday into Sunday that Iran could cease to exist if the United States is forced to complete its “mission” through military action, asserting that American aircraft carried out airstrikes on Iranian targets in response to violations of the ceasefire agreement.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that U.S. aircraft conducted airstrikes targeting Iranian missile and drone storage facilities, as well as coastal radar sites, after Iran allegedly violated the ceasefire agreement once again.

The U.S. president added: “They will probably never learn. A time may come when we can no longer be reasonable and are forced to complete the mission we began so successfully through military means. If that happens, Iran will cease to exist.”

Earlier, the U.S. Central Command announced that the United States had carried out additional strikes on Iran on Saturday, targeting several locations, including military surveillance infrastructure.

In a statement, CENTCOM said: “U.S. Central Command forces conducted strikes today in direct response to Iran’s continued aggression against commercial shipping.”

The statement added: “Following the U.S. strikes conducted yesterday in response to the Iranian attack on the vessel Ever Flare, Iran was given an opportunity to comply with the ceasefire agreement. However, it chose not to do so when its forces launched a drone attack targeting the oil tanker Keiko earlier today.”
