The White House clarified that under the U.S. plan to end the war in Gaza, Trump will chair the Peace Council. In addition to this council, two associated bodies have been created: a Palestinian technocrats committee to temporarily manage Gaza, and an executive council that appears to serve an advisory role.

The Peace Council, chaired by Trump, will address issues such as enhancing administrative capacity, regional relations, reconstruction, attracting investments, broad-scale financing, and capital mobilization to rebuild Gaza after a two-year war.

The council will oversee the work of the Palestinian technocrats committee, which is tasked with restoring basic public services, rebuilding civil institutions, and stabilizing daily life in Gaza.
