Axios: U.S. Blockade Deprives Iran of Approximately $5 Billion
Axios has cited sources and U.S. Department of Defense officials stating that the American naval blockade on Iran has deprived Tehran of estimated oil revenues totaling approximately $4.8 billion.اضافة اعلان

Impact on Oil Exports and Logistics
According to the report, sources indicated that Iran is increasingly resorting to floating storage as its onshore storage facilities have reached full capacity. The blockade has successfully halted the transit of 40 vessels suspected of smuggling Iranian oil, with two tankers seized since April 13.

The sources added that 31 tankers, carrying roughly 53 million barrels of Iranian oil, are currently stranded. Meanwhile, other tankers are being forced to take longer, more expensive maritime routes to evade American interception.

Shift to the Strait of Malacca
U.S. officials noted that the Strait of Malacca is becoming a primary hub for the transfer of Iranian oil via supertankers (VLCCs) destined for China, as Tehran attempts to bypass the primary blockade zones.
