Traffic accidents down: 6% reduction since amended law

AMMAN — Since the implementation of the amended Traffic Law, Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya highlighted that there has been a 6 percent decrease in overall traffic accidents, a 19 percent decrease in accidents resulting in human injuries, a 6 percent decrease in collision-related accidents, a 7 percent decrease in hit-and-run accidents, and a significant 24 percent decrease in accidents caused by skidding. Moreover, violations related to running red lights have decreased by an impressive 70 percent, and speeding violations have dropped by 40 percent.اضافة اعلان

He also highlighted that traffic violations have decreased by 22 percent, Ammon News reported.
