Following Friday prayers, protesters chanted slogans saluting the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the people of Gaza.

They also called for lifting the siege imposed on Gaza, which has been in affect for 17 years, and demanded support from the world to take a stance on Israeli aggression. Since October 7, 2023, hundreds of civilians were killed and thousands injured.

In the early hours of Friday, Israel issued a warning to UN staff and residents in Gaza to evacuate in 24 hours.

Participants chanted: The people want to liberate Palestine.

Media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate called on all citizens to adhere to the instructions issued regarding assembly sites, stressing the need to implement the law and prevent anyone from violating it.
