Social Security Corporation says electronic documents don’t need attestation

AMMAN — The Social Security Corporationannounced that documents issued electronically through its website for individuals and establishments, are considered official for all government departments and do not require further attestation at the corporation’s offices or branches, according to a report by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

In a statement issued Tuesday, the corporation explained that some institutions, ministries and companies have ask those insured by the corporation or liaison officers when presenting electronically generated documents from the corporation’s website, to have them stamped or attested at corporation offices.

The statement added that the corporation will follow up this issue with public and private institutions.

The corporation said that its procedures for developing and improving its electronic services are in line with its goals of making its services easily accessible and save people using its services time, effort and expense, adding that 99 percent of its services are available electronically.

The corporation explained those insured by the corporation or liaison officers can communicate with it through its accounts on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, or through its website or official mail, or by calling at any time at 065008080 or at 117117. Or by visiting its 24-hour service provision offices that can be found across the Kingdom.
