Smugglers killed, injured on northern border

AMMAN — Several smugglers were killed and injured in the ongoing clashes on Jordan's northern border between Jordanian border guard forces and armed groups, announced a top military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) on Monday evening.اضافة اعلان
"Eight of the nine apprehended smugglers had their identities disclosed along with pictures, showcasing the seized drugs and weapons," stated the source, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported. 

After counting, it was determined that the confiscated drugs amounted to 4,926,000 Captagon pills and 12,858 palms of hashish. The drugs were subsequently handed over to the competent authorities.

The source emphasized the JAF's commitment to responding resolutely and forcefully to any border threats, as well as thwarting attempts aimed at undermining national security, creating instability, and intimidating the populace.
