Six new COVID deaths, 1,037 new cases

AMMAN  — Jordan recorded 1,037 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, in addition to six new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,742 and the total caseload to 826,282.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 431 cases, while Zarqa recorded 69 cases. Irbid registered 151 cases, Balqa 64 cases, Karak recorded 53, Jerash recorded 55 cases, and Tafileh recorded 20. Madaba registered 16 cases, Aqaba 60, and Ajloun 33.

The ministry added in a statement that some 63 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 60 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,681 according to the Ministry of Health. Around 3.92 percent of the 26,442 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
