Jordan records 17 COVID deaths Thursday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 888 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, in addition to 17 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,518 and the caseload to 805,214.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 420 cases, while Zarqa recorded 96 cases.

Irbid registered 109 cases, while Balqa recorded 27 cases.

Karak recorded 31, Jerash recorded 52 cases, and Tafileh recorded 49.

Madaba registered 11 cases, Aqaba 25, and Ajloun 18.

Mafraq registered 17 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 54 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 60 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,032 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.02 percent of the 29,450 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
