Amman – The Senate, during a session on Sunday, presided over by Senate President Faisal Fayez, endorsed a reply to the Speech from the Throne, which His Majesty King Abdullah II had delivered last Monday to inaugurate the first regular session of the 20th National Assembly.
According to constitutional procedures, both the Senate and the Lower House of Parliament are required to submit their respective responses to the Speech from the Throne within two weeks of its delivery.
