AMMAN — The
Ministry of Health on Monday said that
anybody who has received their first dose of the
COVID-19 vaccine outside of
Jordan will now have the option to register on the ministry’s platform to get
their second jab at different centers across the Kingdom.

In a statement, the ministry said that in order to receive
approval for the first or both vaccine doses, applicants must present either
the original copy of their vaccination certificates or a certified copy. The
certificates must also have a QR code, indicating the brand of vaccine received
and the immunization date.
Certificates issued by the US-based Center for Disease
Control will be approved regardless of whether they show a QR code.
Certificates without QR codes from other countries must bear
the official seal of that country’s ministry of health.
