The reform committee, which is expected to suggest new versions of the elections and political parties laws, among other legislative amendments, was supposed to conclude its duties before the new cycle of the Parliament, due in October, as stipulated by the Constitution.

Members of the committee said that a meeting will be held to discuss the road map for reform to enact His Majesty’s vision in a letter he sent to the chairperson of the panel, former prier and current senator Samir Al-Rifai.

Sources predicted that 4 to 6 sub-committees will be formed, according to Al-Ghad, where each will deal with one of the aspects mentioned in the Royal letter.
