The Public Security Directorate today, Sunday, launched a comprehensive awareness and guidance campaign in schools across the Kingdom, coinciding with the start of the new academic year. The initiative, implemented through various units and formations in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, aims to enhance a safe school environment for students.

Morning lines at many schools witnessed the presence of field teams from police directorates, traffic departments, and civil defense, coordinated by the Media and Community Policing Directorate. These teams welcomed students and worked alongside administrative and teaching staff to conduct direct awareness activities.
The Media and Community Policing Directorate, the Traffic Department, and the Traffic Institute distributed gifts in several schools, including backpacks, stationery, drawing notebooks, coloring sets, and school timetables, which also contained important safety tips for students.
Traffic departments intensified their field activities to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow, inspecting school buses and student transport vehicles, in addition to conducting awareness sessions and providing guidance to reinforce safe student behavior.
Civil Defense teams participated by delivering lectures and preventive guidance focused on public safety, introducing students to basic preventive measures and first aid to help them respond effectively to emergencies in school life.
The Public Security Directorate affirmed that it will continue to implement such programs throughout the school year across various awareness areas, based on its belief in the importance of early education in building a conscious generation capable of protecting itself and its community. It wished students a safe, successful, and fruitful academic year.
