An officer from the Traffic Operations Department told Public Security Radio that the most common technical issues observed during the winter campaign—conducted by the traffic departments in cooperation with the Royal Department for Environmental Protection—were related to lighting malfunctions, including headlights, reverse lights, and turn signals, as well as windshield wipers. He noted that the campaign will continue until the end of the current month, with the possibility of extension if needed.

He added that the technical defect indicator will remain recorded on the vehicle’s traffic file until the issue is repaired and the vehicle is checked at any traffic department, external patrol unit, or licensing office, including evening licensing services, regardless of whether the seven-day repair period has elapsed.
