Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan laid the foundation stone today for the New Madaba Hospital project, marking the official start of construction in accordance with the highest approved medical standards and specifications.

The project represents the first public hospital in the Kingdom to be implemented through a public-private partnership, as part of a new model aimed at developing healthcare infrastructure and enhancing the efficiency of medical services provided to citizens.
The hospital is scheduled to be completed within three years and will serve residents of Madaba Governorate and surrounding areas. It is expected to ease the burden on existing hospitals and improve the overall quality of healthcare services in the region.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the project within the government’s broader plan to expand partnerships with the private sector in key areas, particularly healthcare. He emphasized that the new hospital will be a valuable addition to the national healthcare system.
