AMMAN — Recent data from the popular cryptocurrency platform (TripleA) reported that the number of individuals in the country who own cryptocurrencies has reached 174,136. The findings, carried by Khaberni, reveal that cryptocurrency ownership in Jordan represents 1.54 percent of the total population. With a population exceeding 11.3 million people, it is noteworthy that 31 percent consists of non-Jordanians, according to the Department of Statistics. Comparatively, the TripleA platform, estimates that the global average ownership rate of cryptocurrencies stands at 4.2 percent, with over 420 million individuals currently engaged in the utilization of this new asset.
