No Omicron in Jordan, yet, officials aware of possibilities

The Ministry of Health, said Hijjawi, is aware of the possibility of new variants arriving in Jordan and is ready to carry out intensive follow-ups on any case infected with a new mutant.

He stressed that Delta is still prevalent in the country and the main reason for the current increase in the number of infected people, also warning that the new wave has not yet reached its peak.
