The festivities will feature a wide array of patriotic and family-friendly events, including dedicated children's activities such as games, face painting, and gifts, as well as national music performances, folkloric shows by local troupes, cultural competitions, and bazaars offering traditional handicrafts and locally-made products.

Events will run daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. On May 25, fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 PM near the Sixth Circle Towers, followed by drone light shows at 9:00 PM and 9:45 PM in the Raghadan area.

Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh stated that Independence Day marks a pivotal moment in Jordan’s history, symbolizing the sovereignty of the Jordanian state and its cultural and humanitarian legacy.

He emphasized, “Independence is a core national value that we were all raised with, and we take pride in the progress and development it has enabled for our country under the Hashemite leadership, which has consistently advanced our path of growth and prosperity.”

The Minister also highlighted the importance of deepening the understanding of independence among students, youth, and the broader society, noting that the Ministry promotes this through publications, programs, and ongoing initiatives.

He concluded that this year’s nationwide celebration is a tribute to Jordan’s political and democratic achievements, especially as the Kingdom moves forward into its second centennial.
