Man in his sixties found dead in Zarqa home

AMMAN — A media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated on Thursday that the Zarqa Governorate Police Directorate are opening a murder probe after a man in his sixties was found dead at his Zarqa home on August 4. According to the spokesperson, a special investigative team headed by the Central Criminal Investigation Division and the Zarqa Police Directorate was able to identify a suspect in record time. The suspect was arrested and interrogated, and later admitted to hitting the victim with a tool after a dispute. The spokesperson added that the investigation is still underway, and no charges have been filed at this time.
