AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah returned to Jordan on Wednesday after a visit that included the UK, the US, and Japan, according to a Royal Court statement.اضافة اعلان

In London, King Abdullah and Her Majesty Queen Rania attended the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey.

Their Majesties and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah also attended an official reception hosted by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace for world leaders who were in the UK to attend the state funeral.

In New York, His Majesty delivered Jordan’s address at the 77th UN General Assembly, attended by Crown Prince Al Hussein.

In the speech, the King highlighted Jordan’s position on the latest regional and international developments.

His Majesty also held a number of bilateral meetings with the heads of state and delegation participating in the UN General Assembly, and met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

Moreover, the King participated in the Christchurch Call to Action to Eliminate Terrorist and Violent Extremist Content Online in its third summit and visited the headquarters of the Council on Foreign Relations.

In Tokyo, His Majesty attended the state funeral of Japan’s former prime minister Shinzo Abe .

The King also met with Emperor Naruhito of Japan, Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, and a number of officials.
