His Majesty King Abdullah II received two phone calls on Saturday from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, during which they discussed ways to de-escalate the ongoing serious regional tensions.

During both calls, His Majesty stressed that the current situation requires a collective effort to reduce escalation, warning of the dangers posed by the continued Israeli attacks on Iran.
The King reiterated that Jordan will not be a battlefield for any conflict and will not allow its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens to be compromised.
The leaders also affirmed the importance of maintaining coordination between Jordan and both countries in support of efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
