Jordanians to study abroad warned of scams

AMMAN — The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has warned students who wish to study abroad about dealing with parties that offer university admissions through advertisements, links, or various pages on social media, but are not licensed by the ministry, according to Khaberni.اضافة اعلان

The ministry asked students to deal only with the university offices it approves, which are listed on the ministry website with the following link: www.mohe.gov.jo

The ministry recommended that students only sign contracts with offices approved by it, and keep the receipts, so as it may follow up on any complaints, adding that it will not tolerate any violation committed by unlicensed offices.

The ministry also warned students about social media promotions of fake universities and universities not recognized by the ministry.

It urged students wishing to study abroad to consult the link http://rce.mohe.gov.jo/RecognizedUniversities to make sure that they end up in an accredited university.
