Jordanian dinar exchange rate rises against some currencies in 2022

AMMAN — The annual report of the Jordanian Central Bank for the past year 2022 revealed an increase in the exchange rate of the Jordanian Dinar against major global currencies.اضافة اعلان

The exchange rate of the Jordanian Dinar against the Euro by 6.9 percent, the British Pound by 9.1 percent, and the Japanese Yen by 18.6 percent, compared to their prevailing rates in 2021, Al-Saa News reported.

The Central Bank indicated that it has maintained a fixed exchange rate policy for the Jordanian Dinar against the US Dollar since 1995, at an average rate of 709 fils per dollar.

According to the Central Bank, this policy is considered the cornerstone of the monetary policy and one of the most important pillars of overall economic stability.
