The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has continued its awareness and preventive campaign to check vehicle safety ahead of the winter season. The campaign includes distributing informational brochures to drivers across all governorates and explaining its objectives, emphasizing the importance of ensuring vehicles are prepared for winter driving conditions.اضافة اعلان
The campaign will officially begin on 1 November 2025, aiming to verify vehicle roadworthiness and the availability of essential safety features.
Key Elements of the Campaign:
Vehicle inspections: Conducted by patrols on internal and external roads.
Certification: Vehicles passing the inspection will receive a sticker on the windshield as proof of readiness.
Correction period: Vehicles with minor technical issues will be issued a notice (without fines) giving owners one week to resolve deficiencies.
The PSD urges all citizens to cooperate with the inspection teams, follow instructions, and perform regular vehicle maintenance to ensure the safety of themselves and others during the winter season.
