Jordan records 890 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Monday reached 16, according to The Ministry of Health, while a total of 890 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Monday, bringing the death toll to 9,384 and the caseload to 731,436.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Monday’s tally, the ministry said:

392 in Amman
128 in Irbid
115 in Zarqa
61 in Balqa
39 in Mafraq
17 in Ajloun
15 in Jerash
41 in Karak
25 in Maan
9 in Tafilah
39 in Aqaba
9 in Madaba

The ministry added in a statement that some 84 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 87 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 10,438, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 4.23 percent of the 21,048 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
