Jordan records 16 deaths, 1041 new cases Sunday

The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Sunday reached 16, while a total of 1041 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,048 and the caseload to 771,753. اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Sunday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 561 cases, while Zarqa recorded 152 cases.

Irbid registered 51 cases, while Balqa recorded 47 cases.

Karak ,20 and Jerash recorded 27 cases, while Tafileh recorded 31.

Madaba registered 23 cases, Aqaba 15, and Ajloun 45.

Mafraq registered 24 new cases, while Maan recorded 0 cases on Sunday.

Ramtha recorded 1 case and Petra recorded 0.

The ministry added in a statement that some 63 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 84 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 10,528, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 4.17of the 24,968 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
