Jordan records 6 deaths, 392 new cases Tuesday

The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Tuesday reached 6, while a total of 392 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 9,916 and the caseload to 762,420. اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Tuesday’s tally, the ministry stated that Amman recorded 171 cases, while Zarqa recorded 108 cases.

Irbid registered 45 cases, while Karak recorded 6 cases.

Balqa recorded 0 cases, while Aqaba recoded 6 and Mafraq recorded 2 cases.

Ajloun registered 17 cases, Tafileh 8, and Jerash 4.

Madaba registered 2 new cases, while Ramtha recorded 8 cases on Tuesday.

Maan recorded 15 cases and Petra recorded 0.

The ministry added in a statement that some 84 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 44 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 8,139, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 2.85 percent of the 13,778 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
