JFDA says foodstuffs violations ‘will not be tolerated’ during eid

Director of the Jordan Food and Drug Association (JFDA) Nizar Mheidat on Tuesday said the JFDA will not tolerate any violations regarding the display of foodstuffs outside shops under direct and intense sunlight.اضافة اعلان

According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Mheidat said that the association­ has developed a comprehensive plan to monitor foodstuffs establishments in the Kingdom throughout eid.

He added that the JFDA’s action plan will complement the intense oversight efforts carried out during Ramadan, which targeted various foodstuffs establishments.

Mehidat noted that the focus of inspection teams will be on dessert shops, bakeries and fast food restaurants, adding that JFDA personnel will dispose of any products that may become unsuitable for consumption due to sunlight and heat exposure.
