AMMAN —
Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Director General Nizar Al-Mhaidat
pledged that his institution will endeavor to stimulate food facilities to
adhere to food safety and quality regulations to enhance self-control through
various programs, including the Trust Program, according to the Jordan News
Agency, Petra.

He told a ceremony
on Monday to hand over certificates of trust to 11 food establishments this
year that the Trust Program is the highest certificate granted by his
corporation to food facilities committed to implementing food safety and
quality control standards that focus on promoting best practices and
self-control.
For their part,
representatives of the food establishments commended the JFDA for its support,
noting that the certificates will have a positive impact on committed food
facilities and the reputation of their products in global and Arab markets.
